Hubert Eaves III

Hubert Eaves III is a multi keyboard instrumentalist, Producer, writer, and arranger. Hubert’s versatile reputation led him into the R&B/Pop market where he played /wrote, &/or arranged for such prominent artists as Roberta Flack, Miles Davis, Madonna, Stefanie Mills, Phyllis Hyman, The Spinners, Glen Jones, Mtume, The Force Md’s, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Rakim, The “Notorious” Biggie Smalls, Rick Ross, Rakim, Mariah Carey, and Phil Perry, most notably.

Hubert’s most noted work, however, came out of an eight-year collaboration with James “D Train” Williams: a five-album catalog for which Hubert was the founder, producer, co-writer/arranger and sole keyboardist. The first album, You’re the One for Me resulted in two Number One Billboard charted perennial dance classics, “Keep On”, and “You’re the One for Me”, of which was mostly performed on his Prophet-5 Rev 2 synthesizer:

“I call it my ‘Sweet Baby’, so natural to program, and play without skipping a beat.  Not to mention that big fat original analog Prophet sound that I love so well.”

Hubert’s Prophet-5 has been used on all of the Dtrain records, as well as his other outside production projects.
